Bake your own pizza on the stove
Handy for those of us who don't have a real oven in the kitchen, the Pizzeria is a ceramic mini-oven designed to sit on top of the stove and bake away merrily. I don't entirely follow the Google translation of the product webpage in Japanese, but it seems to suggest that the ceramic qualities of the oven generate "infrared radiant heat" that bakes a pizza at 570 degrees Fahrenheit in 3-6 minutes (excluding 15-20 minutes of preheating).
The whole Pizzeria set weighs about 11 lbs and consists of the mini-oven, the plate that functions as the pizza tray, a saucer below it which sits on the stove and a spatula-like metal peel for sticking the pizza into the oven. It fits 10" pizzas and will work with frozen pizzas too. It's made by Japanese company Hakuho, which specialises in heat-resistant cookware.
No price is listed on the Hakuho site, but Impress Watch (Google translation here) reports that it's 10,000 yen or US$93.
